why do we not learn to play all day

surely this would take our stress away

having fun getting into a flow

this is where we learn to let go

letting go and enjoy the act of creating

making, playing, building or even painting

life should be living in the moment

not constant inner worry & torment

go try something new and escape for a while

it might even encourage a smile

go take a dip in the sea

or watch that buzzing bee

let your hands sink into the ground

and see what treasures can be found

plant some seeds and watch them grow

prizing winning tomatoes may appear, you never know

paint that fence a beautiful pink

or write a letter with a beautiful pen and ink

bake a cake as a gift

you mood will soon lift

use your hands to create and have fun

soon you will be shining at bright as the sun

creating is a place that brings inner peace

it’s your own special place to allow an emotional release

connect with your heart and your own inner spark

if you do you will see the light through the dark

play like a child each day

create your own magic in your own special way

light up the world with this joy

this is a light that no one can destroy
