“As I sat on the edge of the grass,
I watched the clouds above move so fast 
Each cloud I named with all my worries, 
And asked them to take them away in a hurry 
I spread out my hands to touch the ground, 
I wish I could stop feeling down 
How can I stop my mind from being  this way, 
Have hope I heard a faint whisper say 
I looked around there was no one there, 
I asked again in a gentle prayer 
Please give some hope of brighter times, 
Help me to get up this mountain I climb 
A little sign of faith and luck,
Could it be lurking in this muck
I watched a bee buzz and fly, 
Please little bee tell me why 
Where can i find this thing called  hope, 
Could it be the thing that helps me cope 
School can be such a lonely place, 
So much noise and not a friendly face 
Open your eyes the whisper repeated, 
Don’t let the school make you feel defeated 
Please little bird show me the way to find it,
Guide me to hope and there i’ll sit 
I watched as the robin bobbed up and down, 
I watched as swooped and stopped on the ground .
He sat still as can be,
I knew he was calling on me 
So i walked over and watched his gaze, 
I was beginning to feel I was in a haze 
As i looked down where stood, 
I saw something that lifted my mood 
There was something so very green, 
The most beauty l green I have ever seen 
I picked it up and started to count the leaves, 
I gentle sat down on my knees 
One  two three and four, 
Surely  there wouldn’t be more 
Four  perfect green shapes, 
The  most perfect lucky charm this makes 
A clover to keep right, 
A piece of clover to give me hope through the night 
To  trust in a future full of love, 
A life that’s a gift from above
